Did adding a free credit score site in a resource link is a violation of yahoo answers policy?
No, I am only putting the relevant link. I only put the link to credit score site if the question has asked something about credit score.

Perception has a LOT to do with it. Even if a link is to a ‘relevant’ site, if the users here on YA THINK it is spam, they will report it. And if they report it enough, it will be removed and a violation notice sent out.

Links to sites like that should be posted VERY carefully. Because the site you linked to has ads on it, it is seen that posting it is looking for customers, even if it is not meant that way. And many of the supposedly "free" sites – really are not. Which makes people think spam as well. If you want to use a source link for truly FREE site, try posting a link to the Federal Trade Commission site:

For Human Resources Experts, when employers do background checks do they pull credit or know past employers? What do they actually do and find? Can they tell your entire work history? Anyone who has been in human resources what do they usually do when they do a background check or whatever. Thanks
I know that they check criminal information, I had gotten this felony it was really like 8 years ago but went on forever; it was an extremely minor white collar thing; the only reason why it was even a felony because it was out of state; I got probation; I dont even have a speeding ticket in my life; I have heard that if its federal its harder to find; I resigned from this job that I had for over a year that dealt with high profile people and they never said anything. It seems like you are better off saying you have nothing because now with the recession everyone can be picky and just roll the dice; no matter how its explained it doesnt seem like it matters; I dont know

Background checks differ from company to company and follow various regulations depending on where the company/job is actually located.

A basic background check includes a social security verification and criminal records check. If a company wants employment verification, you will be asked to provide the names/contact information of past employers and it will be verified. If they want a drug screen – they’ll ask for a separate consent form. The same is true for a credit check.

When someone does a criminal records check they compare your information to criminal records databases and match information based on your social security number, name, addresses, phone numbers, etc.

An employer can’t see your entire work history, because here is no database that tracks and stores that information completely. At least not yet.

Start by learning the business and the way things work with the credit bureaus. You can get business by referrals such as family, friends, car dealerships, mortgage professionals etc. Don’t expect business to fall on your lap! GO GET IT!

My credit score has been damaged because of frequent inquiries from the banks. i am trying to start a business but feels trapped because i have no funding and cant find any resources that can help.

What type of credit score are you talking about? What collateral can you put up? If the banks aren’t going to help you, you could ask your associates/co-workers/family/friends to help add to your money buy to start the business. Hopefully they can loan you money then you can ask for a lower loan from your bank. If you have collections or defaulted accounts that’s going to practically destroy your chances at getting a loan. Pay those off first! Moreover, have you saved $7500 to put as a down payment on the loan? Start a savings account ASAP.

Where can I find resources for that? Looking to help someone with their class, to make sure it can help qualify their students for AP credit.

Students may earn college credit if they do well on the AP exam. Students do not earn college credit just by taking the class, the must take the exam in May.
