What are the best credit cards for students?

I am a college student looking to open a credit card. What are the best rates and cards targeted towards students? Do they accept applications even with little or no credit?

The Citi Forward card and Citi mtvU cards are both great reward cards for college students. They offer 5% rewards in spending categories like restaurants, movie theaters, book stores, etc.
The Discover Student card has decent cash back rewards too.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there is one for students. I’m a firm believer of opening credit lines once you are able to get a stable job. Most cards directed toward students high insanely high APRs, which is unfortunate for students who make mistakes.

Don’t get a card in college. Trust me. Start your life free from any sort of debt other than student loans.

Many credit card companies entice students and issue cards without much credit history. I would strongly advise you not to get into credit card debt because that is the WORST debt by far.

You might be lucky.
The laws are changing in Janurary that will not allow anyone under 21 to get a credit card.
The reason I said lucky was because most students have no clue how to use credit correctly.
Which is, you pay in full each and every month – never carry a balance.

A lot of students don’t know this and end up ruining their lives.
Perhaps that’s why the law is being passed.

There are some for college students but please listen to me and do not get any. You’ll be better off without them. Get a part time job if you need the extra cash or a stafford loan.
