How do I check free credit report I am entitled to?

I just tried by logging on to the free credit report link. I filled everything out but then they asked me to pay. The problem is I do not want to pay for my "free" report. How can I still get my free credit report?

did you go to freecreditreport.com? If yes, that’s why. They have a lot of commercials on TV saying it’s free but they charge you.

give me all of your personal information including your mothers maiden name, social insurance number, date of birth and all of that fun stuff and i’ll tell you your credit score.
