How do I check or help establish a credit report online for my 16 year old daughter?
My daughter is turning 17 in May and she has been interested in building a good credit file. She already has a checking account with my husbands’s cosign and a debit card. How can I help her establish a credit report and how can we check her credit report? Where can I get some good Informations? Any good websites?

A debit card does nothing toward establishing credit; she needs an actual credit card to show that she can take on debt and pay it off responsibly. A good way to start would be with a guaranteed card, where she puts in money for her credit line, then uses the card and pays it off continuously.
If you want to see if she has a credit report, go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com However, I doubt she has any kind of history.
