How do I get a real free credit report without having to use a bank info to get it?

I need to find out what my credit report looks like. But, I have run into several sites where I have to enter my bank information. My brother found a site where he did NOT have to use any information but we cannot find the link anywhere. Do you know where I can find this site/link?

No such thing as a free credit report, sadly this is one of those "daylight robbery" scams that people can pull of even though it is your info.

annualcreditreport.com is the official site to get your free credit report from the three main companies. You only have to pay if you want to see your actual score.

Each person is entitled to a free credit report from each reporting agency each year.
Send a written request to http://www.equifax.com/, transnational.com, and experian.com.

Annualcreditreport.com- It is free and you can only use it once a year. It will show your 3 reports free but if you would like to see your score there is a fee.
