How to get rid of old marks on my credit report?

Is the drop off date 8 years on old marks on a credit report? Who do you contact to get these off? Is it the actual reporting agency? Like where you request the form from? Thanks!

It is 7.5 years for most items, but 10 years for legal judgments. You contact the credit reporting agencies and the forms are on their respective websites. Look for a link referring to "Dispute Information" or something to that effect.

Oh man I’ve been there! I tried doing it myself! But dealing with the bureau is sooo friggin time consuming! My sister went through this credit repair company and instead of taking a year or two, they helped her out in like 10 months. Through their guidance, she was able to really get those old negative out! I mean really they’re should be a class in high school that teaches you these things LOL but I guess you can say they are the next best thing! They’re website is http://www.icreditinc.com and I hope they can help you out!
