Recently I applied for a job in Human Resources. I was chosen as a potential candidate. A reply was sent regarding my position in my email box. It said in order to get an interview I have to submit my credit score. Should I be cautious about this job posting?
some companies that hire for accounting positions will ask for this (banks especially)..they feel the better your credit score, the less likely you will steal from them..although I would be wary of online communication..since I’m sure you provided your SS# on your application, they can find this out for themselves..call the employer and speak to them directly for any additional info they may need from you.
