Should we take a lesson from credit card companies on how to stop terrorist attacks?

How can VISA notice a suspicious charge to my account, freeze my card, call me up to let me know about it, and then mail me a brand new credit card within 3 business days…….yet the Obama administration and the entire US government (with trillions of dollars in unlimitted resources) can’t figure out how to keep a suspected terrorist who’s father warned officials of his sons intentions weeks ago, from boarding a plane with explosives and no passport?

Good point. I think you nailed it. The private industry has and will continue to do things better, cheaper, and more efficiently than the government.

Forget War Buy More Says:

Because your analogy is false.

If winning the war on terror were liking running a credit card company, shouldn’t Joe Biden from Deleware be perfect at it?

another example is airport security in israel, it’s done by private security companies, not the government and they have a perfect record.
