What has your experience with Consumer Credit Counseling Services been like?

I am deep into debt and cant make minimum payments. I started to go through CreditSolutions.com but that was a month and a half ago and Ive seen no results. When I did some more research on them I found a lot of negative things. I also found people suggesting Consumer Credit Counseling Services which is a non-profit. Just wondering what your experience with them was like. My credit is already shot cause Im late on payments so Im not concerned about that at this point. I just want to find the best and cheapest way to pay off debt and fast before I start getting sued! Please only people who have actual experience with CCCS answer. I used Credit Guard of America. They are non-profit and were able to do two things for me. One: lower my monthly payment and Two: get creditors of my back. I didn’t feel like they lowered my interest rates on my cards enough though. I took about 5 years to pay down my debt and I think I would have done it quicker if they could have gotten my interest rate lower.

It was super easy to sign up too.
