Thanks!

While I don’t know Canadian law, my guess it is pretty similar to US in that the estate is responsible for the debts. Assets must be used to pay off the debts before being distributed to heirs. If there are not enough assets to cover the debts, the heirs do not inherit the debt.

I say check the ones that do not charge you a fee for taking accepting them from your customers. I have heard that some places refuse certain credit cards because they charge the business fees in order to process them…check the ones I have listed below…
Discover
Visa
Mastercard
I heard American Express is one that charges fees…I do not carry that card.

I have about twenty credit inquiries from December 2010 to September 2011. The reason they’re there was because I kept getting turned down for credit cards. I decided to check my credit report a month ago and I found out there was inaccurate information. The credit bureaus wouldn’t remove it, so I had to have the creditors remove it. They fraudulent negative information is now gone, but the inquiries remain.

Is it possible to get them removed? I mean, I wouldn’t have them if it wasn’t for the fraudulent information on my credit report.

In the middle of reviewing your credit report, you notice at the very end a section labeled "Credit Inquiries" or "Regular Inquiries".
These inquiries were made by companies who received or "pulled" your credit report and these inquiries will remain on your credit report for two years. You may not recognize their names and you have no idea why they pulled your credit.
Many people tend to over focus on removing inquiries when their reports are full of lates pays, collection accounts or even a bankruptcy.
In these cases, you might want to hold off on your efforts to remove inquires until after you have successfully removed some of the bigger problems on your credit report.
But, if you are tackling your other credit issues, it doesn’t hurt to tackle this problem, too.

I have browsed on several credit fix online. Some are offering free service. What specifically is the chance that these companies are worth my trust?

Sure, you can sign up with them for free. What they’re going to do is call all your creditors, "talk them down" to a lower price for the money you owe, add it all up, present you with a payment plan and take a fee.

Either that or they outright buy your depts from the credit card companies. That way, they make the interest while you make the payment you set up with them. CHA-CHING. They can offer you "free" service, because they are getting interest…and they decide exactly how much that will be.

It’s legal and it works. If you make the payments. If not, you’ll be looking at those interest charges. They can also charge you fees, just depending on the contract you sign.

It also "dings" your credit. Not as badly as a bankruptcy, but close.

The thing is, you can do it yourself.
Call your creditors. Ask for a settlement or any discount. Tell them how much you can pay each month. THEN PAY IT. With the economy circling the drain, they’re grateful to get any money, as long it’s a reasonable request.

No credit ding. No middle man.

Did adding a free credit score site in a resource link is a violation of yahoo answers policy?
No, I am only putting the relevant link. I only put the link to credit score site if the question has asked something about credit score.

Perception has a LOT to do with it. Even if a link is to a ‘relevant’ site, if the users here on YA THINK it is spam, they will report it. And if they report it enough, it will be removed and a violation notice sent out.

Links to sites like that should be posted VERY carefully. Because the site you linked to has ads on it, it is seen that posting it is looking for customers, even if it is not meant that way. And many of the supposedly "free" sites – really are not. Which makes people think spam as well. If you want to use a source link for truly FREE site, try posting a link to the Federal Trade Commission site:

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/freereports/index.shtml

This is part of what they say there:
"A new law requires commercial websites that say they offer free credit reports to include a box letting you know you can get a free credit report at www.AnnualCreditReport.com. Click on the link to www.AnnualCreditReport.com, the only place to get the free report that’s yours by law.

Many companies claim to offer free credit reports – and some do. But others give you a report only if you buy other products or services. Still others say they’re giving you a “free” report and then bill you for services you have to cancel. If you go to www.AnnualCreditReport.com and follow the prompts for your free credit report, you can be sure the reports you get really are free."

First of all i know nothing about anything much, loses memory U__U
I am wondering what should i know about credit cards, but before anything just to say i don’t have bills to pay or anything getting money due to some car incidents and planning to put it in my account. Are there somethings such as fee i must pay for using credit cards or overuse? Please help and get me some recommendations for credit cards thanks!

It really depends on the credit card If this is your first card i would recommend a capital one
Journey card as there is no annual fee and its one your more likely to get approved for. The interest rate is dependent on the card this is the main other fee as well but only applies if you do not pay off your full balance every month. Other wise there are usually no fees for using cards you actually can get money back if you use it right!

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I have debt I need to tackle and was told about 0% transfer cards. Are these cards only used when your debt is with other credit cards? Or can they be used if I owe payday loan lenders?
Basically my credit score is still good I was just wondering is it possible to get a card with £5000 and with 0% interest for 6+ months so I can pay this off as quickly as possible and rid myself of debt? How exactly do these work as opposed to standard credit cards / what is my best bet? Thanks in advance for any advice.

1) the credit limit you get is up to the lender and in today’s environment getting 5000 pnds is asking a lot for a new card. You are much better off if a bank will lend you money on an installment loan
